      Barry Familetto is the President of New England-based Stetson Asset Management. With more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, asset, and operations management, development, and service delivery, Familetto provides client-centric, FIVE-Star service throughout the entire continuum of asset management and real estate investment services, including construction, finance, and building operations.

      Barry believes in managing environments and relationships rather than just buildings and mechanical systems. Owners and occupants should be treated like coveted clients and building guests/customers. He takes a proactive approach to creatively identifying and leveraging revenue opportunities for his clients, minimizing ownership investment risk, and motivating his management teams to produce measurable results.  

      His company’s full range of services includes real estate asset and operation portfolio management, stakeholder relations, strategic planning, end-to-end construction oversight, P&L management, staff leadership and coaching, turnaround financial analysis, projection and modeling, cash flow management, and complex negotiations.

      Barry earned his MBA from Babson College and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Merrimack College. He has been an adjunct lecturer at Babson College and Harvard University Extension School teaching the courses Managing Growing Businesses and Entrepreneurship and New Ventures, and an instructor for the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) courses: Real Estate Asset Management; Real Estate Investment and Finance; Budgeting & Accounting; Environmental Health and Safety, and, Ethics is Good Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant, CPM (Certified Property Manager), and Board of Director of BOMA.

      Valerie Vasil’s diverse background in accounting, financial projecting, software engineering, and real estate office management is combined in her role as Accounting & Office Manager for Stetson Management & Development. Vasil brings a unique specialty to the clients she serves. She is an expert at improving the process and timeliness of reporting through software automation. 

     Valerie comes from a family of accountants who practice integrity and deliver high-quality services. She earned a BA in accounting from Boston College. Her experience with accounting and financial modeling systems led her to earn a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems, with distinction, from Bentley University.

      Valerie was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society for the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredited schools. This includes the top 5% of business school programs around the world. The purpose of Beta Gamma Sigma is to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business and to foster personal and professional excellence among its members. A major emphasis of the Society is to foster ethical business leadership.
